Abstract EN

This study is an attempt to shed light on sports terms such as: winning, losing, team, cupm, referee, and others.

the research, also, aims at finding the meanings of such terms in "linguistic dictionary".

the study, too, aims at manifest the Quranic meanings of the terms.

the it compares between the two meanings: Quranic and dictionary, showing similarities and differences between the two.

The order of the terms will be according to alphabetic and their trilateral roots.
