The study aimed to identify the reality of the practice of self-learning skills of graduate students in Saudi universities in the light of the requirements of the knowledge society by revealing the degree of the practice of self-learning skills of graduate students in Saudi universities in the light of the requirements of the knowledge society and to identify the significant differences in the degree of practice of learning skills Self-graduate students attributed to the variables of gender (female, male) and specialization (scientific, literary) and interaction between them.
Identify the obstacles that limit the development of self-learning skills of graduate students from the point of view of the sample members, and make suggestions that may contribute to their development.
The study used the descriptive method in the survey method.
Self-learning skills were identified in five axes, which were included in a questionnaire applied to a random sample of graduate students in Saudi universities by 3.45% (394) students.
The results of the study: that the degree of the exercise of graduate students in Saudi universities self-learning skills in the light of the requirements of the knowledge society is high and came as follows: (skills related to problem-solving and decision-making - skills related to the library and access - skills related to the computer and the Internet - communication skills and communication - skills related to activities and expertise).
In the light of the results of the study and based on what is contained in its literature some of the recommendations and proposals
