Abstract EN

This paper aims at investigating (The effectiveness of virtual laboratory in student's achievement and promoting orientations towards electronic learning in tenth grade students in chemistry ) – To achieve these aims, 50 students were chosen from Chiman secondary school during the academic year 2014-2015 as the sample of the study.

They were randomly divided into two subgroups: The experimental and the control group.

The experiment lasted for 7 weeks.

The results revealed that there was a significant difference at 0.05 level in the means of the scores of the students in the experimental group in their pre-post test in favour of the experiment in the dimensions (advantages of electronic learning, interest towards electronic learning, and anxiety from electronic learning).

On the other hand there was no significant difference at 0.05 level in the mean scores of the students in the control group in their pre-post test in the dimentions ( interest towards electronic learning and anxiety from electronic learning).

A significant difference was noticed in the mean scores of the students in the control group at 0.05 level in their pre-post test in the dimention (advantages of electronic learning.

The study ends in proposing some pedagogical recommendations based on the results obtained.
