This research paper aims to highlight the concept of South-South cooperation, as one of the recognized forms of international economic cooperation, which aims to boost economic and social development in developing countries and least developed countries.
Through the descriptive approach, the attention will be focused to a broader concept of this phenomenon, its principles, its historical context as well as their magnitude and the role that can play alongside North-South cooperation.
The involvement of Africa and Algeria in this kind of cooperation and the relations between them in this context will also be analyzed.
The study concluded that South-South cooperation is a fruitful opportunity to boost the Algerian economy.

Cette présente recherche a pour but de mettre en lumière le concept de la coopération Sud-Sud, en tant qu'une des formes reconnues de la coopération économique internationale.
Celle-ci vise en effet à booster le développement économique et social dans les pays en voie de développement et les pays les moins avancées.
Par le bais de l'approche descriptive, l'attention a été focalisée sur une vision élargie de la coopération Sud-Sud, ses principes, son contexte historique ainsi que son ampleur et le rôle qu'il peut jouer à côté de la coopération nord-sud.
De plus, l'implication de l'Afrique et de l'Algérie dans ce type de coopération ainsi que les relations entre eux dans ce cadre a été également analysée.
L'étude a abouti que la coopération Sud-Sud constitue une opportunité fructueuse pour booster l'économie algérienne.
