Through this research we aim to present the position of contemporary jurists on therapeutic abortion for women with chronic disease, and the view of Algerian legal legislation in this context, and then address the reality of the practice of abortion at the global level, both therapeutic and criminal, and the extent of acceptance of women with diseases In Algeria for chronic therapeutic abortion and its demand for it, in the event that pregnancy is dangerous to her life, we also aim to know the most important causes and factors leading to abortion, and the role of health care provided to women during pregnancy and beyond in protecting them from health complications leading to abortion or fetal death or maternal mortality
