There is no doubt that the Algerian legislator takes into account the liberty and life of the minor.

We therefore note that the Penal Code contains specific provisions criminalizing the abduction of minors, their non-extradition and all attacks that prevent the verification of the person, including concealment, deportation and replacement.

These attacks continue to weigh on public authorities and pose a danger to society.

Given this situation, it is necessary to shed light on the effectiveness of criminal policy in the fight against this crime, presenting the main reasons and the reasons behind them, as well as the legal mechanisms used to deal.
