Abstract EN

The study aims to identify the role of small and medium projects in economic development in Libya as the main and essential supporter in many economies, as many countries have become dependent on them to invest and stimulate the economic environment because of its pivotal role in production and employment and increase income, innovation and technological progress, it also has the ability to spread geographically both in cities and villages.

It is also able to create a competitive market for goods and services capable of competing with imported goods.

The study reached several results, including that the small and medium enterprises have many elements of success that enable them to excel, especially in industrial activities, they achieve savings in capital, which is rare in developing countries, and have the capacity to adapt to any new variables, which means lower production costs.
