Abstract EN

Our study aimed at knowing the role of unconventional financing policy in addressing the public treasury deficit, which was the impact of the repercussions of the 2014 oil price crisis and this is due to the dependence of the general budget to finance its expenditures on oil revenues, whose prices have collapsed to below $ 50 a barrel.

This study concluded that the Algerian government must resort to adopting a policy of unconventional financing after exhausting all available measures to bridge the public treasury deficit.

And the success of this policy requires a strong productive economy, not a rentier economy like Algeria's economy, whose production apparatus is not flexible.
