Abstract EN

This study examines the extent to which governance has been applied in Algerian banks, starting with a review of the theoretical framework of corporate governance in general.

In this study we conducted a field study of a sample of the agencies of the National Bank of Algeria (BNA), Savings and Reserve Bank (CNEP), Al Baraka Bank of Algeria and the Bank of Agriculture and Rural Development (BADR) working in Ghardaia State where we used the questionnaire and its analysis through SPSS The study concluded that there is a partial application of governance in the Algerian banks according to the type of these banks which are predominantly public banks.
