Many researchers have tried to divide the concept of corporate social responsibility into specific dimensions to facilitate the study and measurement of this branching and comprehensive concept of different areas, and the first attempt to define the dimensions that constitute corporate social responsibility was the attempt of the researcher Carroll in 1979.

That is why our research paper came with the aim of highlighting the different divisions of researchers on the dimensions and detailing the dimensions of social responsibility that Carrol stipulated in his own matrix.

An appropriate descriptive analytical approach was applied to describe the phenomenon as it is, and the study reached Carroll's equation, which is the sum of the four types of responsibility.
