In this historical article, we will address Algeria's position on the 1967 Arab-Israeli war, known as the setback, where we will address the causes and the course of the war, its effects and its political and military consequences on the Arab region, the most prominent of which was the loss of vast areas of the land of the Ring Countries, such as Sinai and Gaza Gaza, the West Bank, the Golan and southern Lebanon, in addition to the military losses, whether material or human, and Algeria's position and its interaction with the war and its results, politically, medialy, militarily and materially, and its diplomatic efforts to reduce the catastrophic effects of this war, especially by exploiting its good relationship at the time Of the Soviet Union, and its direct military engagement, which enabled Algeria - despite its recent independence - to play an important role in countering Zionist ambitions and in creating an Arab resistance front.
