This study is within the framework of narrative fiction communities, and its theme linked to the textual city, as it represents a form of awareness of the real city.

The main objective is to detect the biases of the civil pattern towards the rural pattern as a representative of the authority.

The study worked in its applied approaches to a number of novels written after the beginning of the Syrian revolution, and showed in its anecdotal fabric positions reflection its deep structure a clear clash between the countryside and the city as two central cultural patterns that dominate the entire movement of the storyteller.
