English Abstract
The present research aims at investigating the impact of language games in improving creative expression skills for 5th preparatory class students in Al.
Mutamayzeen secondary school for distinguished students in the city of Mosul.
To achieve that aim, a null hypothesis has been set and tested.
The research is limited to fifth preparatory / biology class students in the First secondary school for distinguished students in the center of Nineveh Governorate / Second course for academic year 2018 _2019.
The research depends on the experiment design of equivalent groups.
The sample consists of 63 students distributed into two groups; the first one for the experiment made up of (33) students, studied by using language games, the other one for control made up of (30) students, studied by using a traditional method.
The equivalence between groups has been made.
The prescribed teacher of Arabic language in the definite school is the teacher who takes the role of teaching in this experiment.
The research demands a norm for evaluating the creative expression.
Hence, the researcher used Maktoof 2015 instrument for testing creative expressions after testing its validity and reliability which was (0.
8 ).
Then the researcher apply the experiment on (20/2/2019 ).
After analyzing the collected data statistically by using (T-tests) for the two independent samples, the findings showed that the central one that depends experiment studies is improving creative expressions better than the traditional method.
