From the early 1990s, research on the understanding of entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship focused on the behavioral approach explaining the dynamics of the entrepreneurial process.
In this perspective, many models have been published to describe entrepreneurial processes.
The objective of this article is to examine whether these models suggest a convergence in the identification of factors likely to influence the act of entrepreneurship? Our methodological approach involves a review of the diversity of the literature on entrepreneurship to look for common points that can serve as a basis for understanding the entrepreneurial process.
After a brief synthesis of various contributions from the literature, several points of convergence are noted based on which we infer a general model of the entrepreneurial process.

Dès le début des années 1990, la recherche portant sur la compréhension de l’entrepreneur et l’entrepreneuriat s’est orientée vers l’approche comportementale expliquant la dynamique du processus entrepreneurial.
Dans cette perspective de nombreux modèles ont été publiés afin de décrire des processus entrepreneuriaux.
Le présent article a pour objectif d’examiner si ces modèles suggèrent-ils une convergence dans l'identification des facteurs susceptibles d’influencer l’acte d’entreprendre ? Notre approche méthodologique implique une revue de la diversité de la littérature sur l'entrepreneuriat afin de chercher des points communs qui peuvent servir de base pour comprendre le processus entrepreneurial.
Après une synthèse succincte de différents apports issus de la littérature, plusieurs points de convergence sont constatés sur la base des quels nous inférons un modèle général du processus entrepreneurial.
