Abstract EN

This paper attempts to analyze the role of the Iraq-Iran War in the distortion of the relation between Iraq and the Arab Gulf states, with a view to the proposition that the Arab Gulf states supported Iraq financially and in media during its long war with Iran in order to weaken the two powerful neighbors (Iraq and Iran), particularly Iraq, to overcome its dominion over the political and economic plans of the Arab Gulf states.

Hence, the Arab Gulf states weakened Iraq through Iraq's accumulative debts to these states and by means of drowning the market with more oil than needed, to lessen Iraq's oil returns thereby weakening Iraq's economy and after which these states become the gateway of removing the Iraqi regime.

The study asserts that such policy harmed the whole region including the Arab Gulf states and constituted the main reason for the distorted relation between Iraq and the Arab Gulf states post the Iraq- Iran War.

Further, the use of technology in this field which plays a sign ificant role in the relations between the west and the Arab world is studied.

In fact, it is evident that the western mass media far ahead in recording.
