Abstract EN

Algerian customs are considered as an important state sector, they form a fundamental pillar in the Algerian economy, especially by their vital role in the fight against economic crime and in the matter of protection and control of foreign trade, during this era of economic globalization of international trade in the modern world, due to the technological development of means of transportation and communication, the liberalization of exchanges and strengthening of the principal of free competition between states, and regarding to security trough the fight against fraud, smuggling and important international trafficking (mobilization against counterfeiting plague, money laundering and generally the transnational organized crime), the protection of environment and national heritage.

For these reasons, the directorate- General for Algerian customs developed its strategy in the hope to achieving the desired results during the period of 2016- 2019.
