abstract: This article studies the three visits, of the head of the Armenian Church the Catholicos Gregory II Pahlavuni, to Constantinople, Rome and Cairo, after the battle of Manzikert which led to the fall of Armenia into the hands of the Seljuk Turks.

Where he was able to meet with the Byzantine Emperor Michael VII Dukas, Pope Gregory VII, and Badr al-Gamali, Prince of the armies in Egypt.

This research attempts to exploit some sources and recent studies, to discover the relationship between these visits and the first crusade which broke out later.

cet article étudie les trois visites du chef de l'Église arménienne, le Catholicos Grigor II, à Constantinople, à Rome et au Caire, après la bataille de Mantzikert qui a entraîné la chute de l'Arménie entre les mains des Turcs Seldjoukides.

Où il a pu rencontrer l'empereur byzantin Michel VII Dukas, le pape Grégoire VII et Badr al-Gamali, prince des armées d'Égypte.

Cette recherche tente d'exploiter certaines sources et des études récentes pour découvrir la relation entre ces visites et la première croisade qui a éclaté plus tard.
