Abstract EN

This study focuses on the administrative instability cases experienced by the Ministry of Culture during the period from 1962 to 2012, due to the administrative reform initiated by Algeria.

This has resulted in the restructuring of the Ministry on several occasions and its integration and division in a continuous movement.

Archives being a means of work, an administrative management tool, like other products, and a tool for the preservation of the rights of individuals and bodies, have been affected by these reforms and affected by their deterioration.

This provoked, later, ministerial disputes between the administrations, especially as the Ministry of Culture records a lack in management conditions allowing the organization the of its archives and the reconstitution of the archive group as well as the meeting of the archives.
