Abstract EN
The main objective of this research to evaluate effectiveness of monetary policy in Algeria during 1980-2014, from the influence of principle key indicators of economic stability, represented by : economic growth , inflation ,unemployment and balance of payment ,using quantitative tools represented by money supply and discount rate using the regression model vector auto-regressive ( VAR).the results indicate the absence of effectiveness of these tools for the needs of the economy since the monetary policy is considered as an important tools that can strongly affect the real economy, only if will well manage successfully.
