Abstract EN

This research study examines the rhythmic structure of Bashar ibn Burd's poetry, interms of the use of various prosody measures, employing rhymes with its two oluteand unrestricted variants, its forms and manifestations, and the sounds of letters, precededby the sounds and movements, and the subsequent transformations affecting them.

It alsoaddresses the accompanying rhythmic effects that contributed to the enrichment of therhythmic structure such as Leonine rhyme, alliteration, Epanalepsis, redundancy, andinternal rhymes.
