Abstract EN

The financial system is an important part of the economic system, and one of the main influences on the level of activity through the functions of its various institutions and markets, It also looks positively and increasingly at the role of financial developments in strengthening the real sector and enhancing the supply side of the economy, This paper attempts to measure the direction and degree of impact of financial development on Algeria's economic growth during the period 1990-2013, and has found a positive relationship that is more likely to confirm the Demand-Following Hypothesis.
