Abstract EN

Transformational generators agreed that there was an original internal structure for each sub-structure of the sentence, So they assumed an original rank for the multiple physical representations of a single sentence, However, their opinions differed on the form taken by the deep structure, and the number of the original site structures of the Arabic sentence, so this research was conducted in order to monitor these views, and to identify the justifications on which they were founded.

The study revealed that the multiplicity of views of Arab generators is due to the multiplicity of their methodological approaches, between those who adopted the generative approach as it is, and those who tried to adapt the data of the Arabic sentence to the generative model, and between those who favored the old Arabic grammar in describing and interpreting the site structure of the Arabic sentence
