Through this study, we seek to stand on the manifestations of critical practice represented in the efforts of Hafez Ismail Alawi, to show its premises and goals.

In his criticism, Hafez is distinguished by his reliance on precise bases, and his reliance on accurate and objective theoretical, his scientific principles for the purpose of evaluating the Arabic language discourse, and determining its position at the contemporary linguistic lesson and form this point on the following problem has been raised: what are the premises of linguistic critism?
