Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of some Metacognitive Strategies in the development of achievement and critical thinking skills and towards the Vocational subjects of the tenth grade students, the researcher used the experimental method through the implementation of training program, achievement test, critical thinking test and direction towards Vocational subjects measure.

The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the experimental and control groups in the post-application of the achievement test, critical thinking test and direction measure in favor of the experimental group, there were statistically significant differences between experimental group in pre and post application of the achievement test, critical thinking test and direction measure in favor of post application.

The researcher recommended several recommendations and proposals to serve the educational field
