Abstract EN

Corruption is considered as one of the sides that hinder development, especially at the level of municipalities, where it remained the past era.

For that, Tunisia has sought, after the Jasmine Revolution in 2011 as other countries, constructing a new strategy that cuts of what existed in the previous system through establishing specialized committees in fighting the local corruption, related to the lack of integrity/transparency and uncaring about the public money.

The reformation of the observation system in the municipalities requires them to be under questioning and observation, without severe exaggeration or intervention in terms of references, where the judicial system should be the reference to the different conflict issues.

Also, the Tunisian citizen and the civil society will play an essential role in following the local affairs management, observing the works of the local managers, and suggesting solutions and suggestions through the constitution of 2014.

This interests the magazine of the local communities of 2018 and it is followed by the various states that adopt the concept of participatory democracy.
