بلاغة الصورة بين الاستدعاء و الإقصاء في توليد دلالات الوباء : دراسة تحليلية سيميائية لفيلم "الستار المطلي"

Abstract EN

This study aims to uncover the eloquence of the cinematic movie (The Panted Veil) in the expression of the meaning of disease and its capacity of firing the momentum of the meanings emerging from it (the disease) not only as a subject of pain and human suffering, but also as an existential philosophy, a cultural and ideological attitude about the human being, life and death.

The study, and through the application of semiotic analyze on a number of selected sequences, reaches to some results, the most important among them is that the expression’s eloquence about the subject of the disease in that movie isn’t only in the good choice of the building blocks of the text, or in the tight linking between those blocks, but it’s in what we can call the dexterity in the guidance of the meaning’s path.

Indeed, we saw how the attitude of the western existential philosophy about disease and human suffering has been passed, through the signs, which are useful for this path, and exclude other ones, which could take it to another direction.
