The study is summed up in a title which tries to answer the problem of the meaning of the -filmic- films work thus and arose the title : (The film "Epidemic" of "Lars Von Trier" between prediction and metaphor), which is composed of an introduction and four sub-chapters and a summary, semiology remains the essential tool to read this unclassifiable film, a semiology which is based on hermeneutics and interpretation, it is for this reason that research enough to be more flexible as regards the use of the rigid terms of semiology, which sinks more and more into the theory, between the signifier and the signified and the referent, the latter joins them in a sphere, to break through the architectonics of cinematographic film, without remaining in the old structuralism school revised by the philosophy of the deconstructivist, this research is an attempt to pierce the meaning of the epidemic in the filmic process of Lars von Trier, in one of this film the p read experimental is the most open in its reading.
