Abstract EN

This study aimed to evaluate the reality of the postal and the information and communications technologies sector in Algeria during the period between 2010 -2015, through the use of a set of indicators and statistics from the different official sources, This study found that this sector continues to lag behind on the Arab and international level, Especially, in the e-government project, and attract foreign direct investment,In addition, there is a weak contribution to the gross national product because the country's dependence on the hydrocarbon sector, The study recommended the need to pay more attention to this sector by encou- raging individuals and institutions to invest in this sector in the light of what has become the so-called knowledge economy.
