Abstract EN

The purpose of this research is to attempt to define the concept of sustainable development by asking a set of questions and trying to answer them with regard to the concept of sustainable development, and what is intended specifically.

Some international work has attempted to clarify the meaning of sustainable development by giving it elements of a commonly accepted answer.

Sustainability is achieved through the process of supporting, integrating and dealing with development from social, economic and environmental perspectives.

The problem revolves around clarifying the concept of sustainable development and its challenges, and through an analytical and investigative approach, we discuss attempts to define this concept at the level of international practices and the position of international law on this concept.
