Algeria and the rest of the countries in the world, with the exception of certain countries in south-east Asia, have been facing a crisis since the mid-1970s, one of the main consequences of which is the rise in unemployment, the causes are complex, difficult to define and, even more, to control, and the most knowledgeable economists are far from agreeing on the diagnosis and the treatment to be proposed.
Through our study we have tried to analyze, theoretically and empirically, the nature of the link between Unemployment, GDP growth, inflation, and foreign direct investment in Algeria, using tests and ARDL model, at during the period 1990-2018 and this was done using a program, called E-Views9.
The results of our work indicate that in the presence of certain economic indicators chosen during our study, unemployment has a negative and significant effect on inflation, GDP growth as well as foreign direct investment.

L'Algérie et le reste des pays dans le monde, à l'exception de certains pays du sud¬est asiatique, sont confrontés à une crise, depuis le milieu des années 70, dont l'une des principales conséquences est la hausse du chômage, les causes en sont complexes, difficiles à cerner et, plus encore, à maîtriser, et les économistes les plus avertis sont loin de s'accorder sur le diagnostic et le traitement à proposer.
A travers notre étude nous avons essayer d'analyser, théoriquement et empiriquement, la nature du lien entre le Chômage, la croissance du PIB, l'nflation, et les investissements directs étrangers en Algérie, en utilisant des tests et un modèle ARDL, au cours de la période 1990-2018 et ce la s'est fait à l'aide d'un programme, nommé E- Views9.
Les résultats de notre travail indiquent qu'en présence de certains indicateurs économiques choisis lors de notre étude, le chômage à un effet négatif et significatif sur l'inflation, la croissance du PIB ainsi que les investissements directs étrangers.
