Abderrezzaq el-jezairi; un Médecin Arabe du XII Siècle de l'Algerie)، In this research, we will try to study one of the personalities who played an important role in the cultural life in Algeria in the 12th century AH (18 AD), and that is Abd al-Razzaq Ibn Hammadoush al-Jazaery, the owner of the “Lisan El Maqal” trip, in which he recorded his observations in Tetouan, Fez and Meknes in the Far Maghreb.

We also find him inclined by his nature to the so-called mathematical and medical sciences, as he is a pharmacist, physician, arithmetic, astronomer, hypothesis, and logician.

It is in four parts, leaving only the fourth and final part, which is his dictionary “Revealing Symbols in Explaining Herbs, which follows the approach of the ancients such as Ibn Sina, Ibn Al-Bitar, and Al-Antaki, and it is arranged on the letters of the dictionary, Lucien Leclerc translated it in 1874, that is, two years before his book, The History of Arab Medicine, as was translated and studied by Gabriel Colin, in his doctoral thesis from the University of Algiers, in 1905, entitled, (Abderrezzaq el-jezairi; un Médecin Arabe du XII Siècle de l'Algerie),
