The cultural intermingling that the city of Oujda has experienced throughout its history has been the source of profound changes in the economy as well as in society and culture.

In addition, Oujda is a city of religious tolerance par excellence and a center of peace where several ethnic groups lived: Moroccans, Algerians, Jews, Spanish, French and Portuguese.

This diversity of civilization has generated a varied and rich local culture.

This thousand-year-old city has a remarkable intangible heritage.

This legacy found its origins in the Moroccan-Algerian tradition which was the result of a crossbreeding between the two peoples where there were no more borders between the two countries.

We can notice this influence and the presence of this heritage in the clothing of brides and in the culinary art of the region but also the city of Oujda is characterized by its musical heritage which brings its touch in the cultural identity of the region of which we can distinguish two types of music: city music and popular music.

Through this article, we will first discuss the musical heritage in the city of Oujda, and then we will try to answer the following question: What strategy led by public actors for the sustainability of this ancestral art intangible?-Keywords: Heritage, Music, Oujda.

Le brassage culturel que la ville d'Oujda a vécu au cours de son histoire a été l'origine de profondes mutations aussi bien à l'échelle de l'économie que de la société et de la culture.

Par ailleurs, Oujda est une ville de tolérance religieuse par excellence et un centre de paix où vivaient plusieurs ethnies: Marocains, algériens, juifs, espagnols, français et portugais.

Cette diversité de civilisation a engendré une culture locale variée et riche.

Cette ville millénaire, possède d'un patrimoine immatériel remarquable.

Ce legs a trouvé ses origines dans les traditions Maroco-Algérienne qui était le résultat d'un métissage entre les deux peuples où il n'y avait plus de frontières entre les deux pays.

On peut remarquer cette influence et la présence de cet héritage dans l'habillement des mariées et dans l'art culinaire de la région mais également la ville d'Oujda se caractérise par son patrimoine musical qui apporte sa touche dans l'identité culturelle de la région dont on peut distinguer deux types de musique: la musique citadine et la musique populaire.

A travers cet article, on va évoquer d'abord le patrimoine musical dans la ville d'Oujda, ensuite on va essayer de répondre à la question suivante: Qu'elle stratégie menée par les acteurs pour la pérennisation de cet art ancestral intangible?
