This research comes to address the issue of the Smart City of Algeria under the existing opportunities and challenges.

Smart cities are using innovative solutions that help make human life and environment better by using Information and Communication Technology as a key element.

Through this research, we have realized that Algeria, aware of the opportunities and challenges of applying the concept of Smart City, has reached advanced levels to implement its expectations and ambitions by holding and hosting the international Smart Cities Summit for Investment and Technology in 2018 in the framework of "Algeria Smart City project"
