The science of Usul al-Fiqh represents the connecting link between the Sharia sciences, which in turn paves the ground for a jurist's deduction.

This study is an attempt to follow the contemporary historiography of the science of jurisprudence and the efforts of scholars and thinkers in the history of the science of origins.

This is as part of an endeavor to analyze the phenomenon of historiography, and critically read it at the level of the methodology used in their work.

As for the research problem, it is evident through the study of the history of the science of jurisprudence in terms of its presence in the jurisprudential and fundamentalist compilations and the historical stages of its development with Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr.
