Modern Arab novel has tried every now and then to update its expressive tools so that it can preserve its literariness and its internal elements.

This attempt comes to keep up with the aesthetic and content achievements of the Other without losing its identity when it imitates the legends and magic in the western novel.

Modern Arab novel tries also to use historical, creed, and literary narratives just to furnish and enrich its imaginary world with these local storytelling and extraordinary elements but with Arab touch.

Therefore, this paper tries to study the magical reality in the Hussein AbulKhidher's novel, Mahrajan Alaqnyaa' ( Masks Celebration).
