لقد أسهمت الجزائر منذ اعتناق أبنائها الإسلام في بناء صرح الحضارة الإسلامية سواء بمشاركة أبنائها في الفتوحات الإسلامية و نشر الدين الجديد في دول أوربية أو بمشاركتهم في الحركة العلمية الثقافية فبرز علماء أجلاء في كل المجالات أثروا بعقولهم المكتبة الإسلامية و العربية و من هؤلاء العلماء العلامة الحبر الفاضل يحيى بن معطي.
فمن هو ابن معطي وفي أي عصر عاش

Since the embracement of its sons Islam, Algeria has contributed in building the Islamic civilization, both with the participation of its children in the Islamic conquests, and the spread of the new religion in European countries, or by their participation in the scientific and cultural movement, leading to the emergence of great scientists in all fields, enriching with their minds the Islamic and Arab library.
Among these scholars is the prominent virtuous Yahya bin Muati.
