This research is a translation of an article entitled : The situation of the erberes country , the western Arab written by : the French historian Gabriel Camps (1927-2002 ) , The article was published in a magazine: Revue de l'Occident musulman et de la Méditerranée,Year 1983 Volume 35 Number 1, .It is an interesting article in which the author try to present the factors and interpretation about the Arabic project of the Maghreb countries .

the Author reveals the french colonial school view about this operation .
