Abstract EN

At all times, providing medical treatment to people was one of the most noble activity, in a manner that doctors work on curing pain and suffer of the human being, and promoving the health situation of the society.

However , the french administration, during the colonisation era (1830/1962), used the health care policy as a tool to serve the objectives of the occupation, which are essentially, the spread of christianity among the muslim people, promoving the european civilization, and setting the french hegemony all over the algérian society.

As a consequence the health care became a destructive aspect of the colonialism.
