English Abstract
For the majority of students today, the school plays an essential role in shaping their memory about the built environment.
Students always tend to associate their childhood with happy memories and experiences, and now professionals can argue that the school plays a less controlling role in shaping students' enjoyable memories.
The role of memory in designing school buildings should not be underestimated.
When it comes to our memories of particular rooms, places, and buildings, adults and students have very different perceptions of architectural space.
Architectural design for school buildings can provide a bridge and link between students and adults' perception of designing school spaces as adults have already experienced the interaction with school spaces during their childhood.
On the other hand, the now common actual situation is that school building designs are a representation of adults-only vision in a building where students have to explore a range of spatial settings.
That helps them form their memories and develop their identity.
It must reflect the learning environments that it must support.
The dominant approach to twentieth century learning came after the era's focus on mass production.
Even the school facilities were called "the school factory".
Today's issues require creative participation.
This can be reflected in building learning environments that invite the learner to participate and belong to the community.
This occurs when the environment is not a "solution", but rather a setup that needs the learner to create the full mode.
The school building can reflect how students learn, what they learn, and how they are taught.
The building can also communicate with its users (mainly students) on many different levels in order to provide diverse healthy learning environments within the physical environment that students encounter every day in their schools.
More effective design results.
