This research aims to find out the idiomatic connotation of each of the terms: sentence and utterance, because of the old disagreement between different schools and eminent theorists.

It is the right of today's reader to base his understanding on a decisive point that the persuasive justifications rooted in the evidence of logic and rationality as long as the syntactic phenomena are decisions taking place by consideration, And the analogy in the linguistic propositions with a linguistic orientation.

So is the dispute considered fundamentalist in Arab grammatical thought, or is it just an unpredictable ijtihad/diligence? Does contemporary reading taste accept this distinction? This is what the study wishes to treat according to a vision that refers to a research conviction.
