The ancient literary discourse in Algeria is considered as a real literary entity, and an edifice that has been constructed from the past to continue into the present.

It is a spiritual and cognitive journey in the patterns of Arab and Algerian culture.

Researchers have dealt with it under the authority of the historical approach, for a long period of time and across various cultural environments, starting from the environment of the French Oriental School through to the modern critical school.

Accordingly to which, a great historical critical achievement was established and must be studied, looked to its features, manifestations and defined in this discourse.
