Abstract EN

The aim of the research in this study is to shed light on the effects of the 1919 Revolution Led by Saad Zaghloul, the leader of Al- Wafd" the Egyptian party", against British colonialism; in addition to the National Movement in Sudan.

This research also illustrate how the Egyptian revolution was the biggest factor in igniting the national movement in Sudan.

And the role of associations in the development of political awareness of the national movement in Sudan; besides the emergence and development of political parties in the Sudanese national movement influenced by the revolution of 1919.

This research also highlights the factors that have helped to increase national activity in Sudan and the role of Egyptians who work there as employees, officers, soldiers and immigrants that are in contact with all military personnel "afandes"; as well as the role of the press in motivating the masses on the basis that Egypt and Sudan are one part; so the British officials in Sudan were deeply concern over the Egyptian influence on the emerging class of Sudanese who received Western education and had as priority national ambitions for Sudan; The most important of which is the Nile Valley Unit.

All these led to the discontent of the Sudanese and the outbreak of the revolution of 1924, which was undoubtedly an extension of the 1919 Revolution against British colonialism.
