يتسم دور المؤسسات الوطنية لحقوق الانسان بالتعاون مع غيره من المؤسسات الاخرى في منظومة الامم المتحدة و المؤسسات الاقليمية الاخرى و كذلك المساهمة في اعداد التقارير التي يطلب من الدول تقديمها الى اجهزة ولجان الامم المتحدة بناء على التزاماتها التعاقدية فضلا عن استقلال هذه المؤسسات.

The role of nationl human rights institutions is characterzed by cooperation with other institutions as well as contributing to reparation of reports that states are required to submit to the United Nations organs and ommittees based on their contractual obligations as well as the independence of these institutions
