Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the role of agricultural loans in financing the agricultural sector in Algeria through a case study of the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank of Adrar state during the period (2014-2019), given the great importance the agricultural sector occupies in Algeria as one of the sectors that the state is speculating on achieving economic diversification.

therefore, it was necessary to search for mechanisms and ways to provide adequate financing for this sector through bank financing formulas with benefits supported by the state for all agricultural and rural activities.

The study concluded that the Agricultural and Rural Development Bank of the state of Adrar contributed significantly in the financing of investments for the reclamation of agricultural lands, especially those related to growing grain, as the reclaimed area increases from year to year, which would increase production and achieve self-sufficiency from this basic material, as for the cultivation of vegetables and the farming poultry, there was a marked fluctuation during the study period.
