Abstract EN

This study aimed to determine the effectiveness of programs with a psycho-social approach in the process of sponsoring a group with special needs.

Through this paper, our endeavor was to see the content of these accredited programs within the pedagogical psychological centers, which are public centers that follow a special system that works through sponsorship through major axes related to the psychological, social and pedagogical aspect internally and externally.

We also intend in this study to extract the type of contribution that these programs make in raising the level of mental abilities and mental competence that the mentally retarded group suffers to a slight degree.

Especially the added value for them in adapting to their environment psychologically and socially, on the one hand, and what the content of these programs achieve in activating the educational process for people with special needs on the other hand.

On this basis, we adopted the case study methodology.
