Abstract EN

The Andalusian influx after the fall of Granada had a great impact on the economic, intellectual and cultural life of the Maghreb, where traditional industry and crafts spread by mixing with the local industry.

Schools,zàwiyah, mosques and koranic schools spread in most areas inhabited by the Andalusians,and they brought an intellectual and cultural revolution in most of the Algerian cities such asTlemcen,Mascara,Mazouna,Algeria,Bejaia and Constantine and carried the banner of education in its stages,so that most Algerians improved in reading and writing.

The Mazouna School was a scientific beacon that illuminated all of the Algerian west and cities from the Far East,for it aquired a unique educational system with regard to other high schools such as Tlemcen and Mascara,and containing the finest scholars and sheikhs.

It was a destination for students from the entire western region from Morocco to Mostaganem and Ténes through Tlemcen And Oran, for more than four centuries.
