The African continent occupied special importance in the field of foreign policy of the world Zionist movement in the period before the establishment of Israel in 1948, but, that importance did not take its shape clearly; only after Israel failed to acquire a position among the Afro-Asian countries during the Bandung Conference in 1955, and its feeling of international isolation, so a number of factors helped its rapprochement with the countries of the African continent and gained their support in international forums.

From this point, (Israel) began extending its influence to the various African institutions, sectors, and formal and informal areas, Even after a short period of time, could penetrate to the most of countries of the continent and at a wide level of economic, political, military and cultural relations
