the books of Muqatil are considered of a great importance and high position.

This research shed light on the grammatical terms that emerged and settled before AlKhaleel and Sebawaih's books and it included a preface, in which we dealt with Muqatil Ibn Sulaiman's life and a section that involved the grammatical terms which are arranged alphabetically.
