Abstract EN

The study examines the phenomenon of female* smoking water pipes (s/ws/u) in calcs in Kuwait.

It undertakes lo show that this treod appears to be an expression oi liberalization and freeing oneself of cultural ties.

Females of different ages are indulging in water pipe smoking as the trend has progressed.

Although shisha cafes hav* increased in number over the years, water pipe smoking is also widespread in restaurants, houses, and in common areas despite non smoking campaigns.

In order to attract people to shisha smoking, different flavors of tobacco are sold in the market ■
