This research focusing on identifying the family climate for the student in the intermediate school also to identifying the variation of this climate according to the gender, and exploring.

.

Descriptive methodology is employed and the research sample was 420 students, 210 males & 210 females.

Sample students are from day schools of Baghdad education directorate, Rusafah 3.

The scale adopted is of Alaa' Aldeen Kafafy, 2010.

The following is noticed through results obtained.1- the Sample of students have family climate that are near to be abnormal.2- No differences are found among students in family climate according to the gender.3- A negative statistical correlation is found between family climate and student level of study which is positive
